How to Write an E-book

First, figure out your e-book’s working title. Titles help you to focus your writing on your topic; they guide you in anticipating and answering your reader’s queries. Aim for clarity in your titles, but cleverness always helps to sell e-books as long as it’s not to cute.

Next, write out a thesis statement. Your thesis is a sentence or two stating exactly what problem you are addressing and how your e-book will solve that problem. Your thesis will keep you focused while you write your e-book.

Once you have your thesis, before you start to write, make sure there is a good reason to write your e-book. Ask yourself some questions:

Does your e-book present useful information and is that information currently relevant?
Will your e-book positively affect the lives of your readers?
Is your e-book dynamic and will it keep the readers attention?
Does your e-book answer questions that are meaningful and significant?

If you can answer yes to these questions, you can feel confident about the potential of your e-book.

Another important step is to figure out who your target audience is. Figure out the range of your general gender, what they are most interested in, and even the socio-economic group they primarily come from. Are they people who read fashion magazines or e-book reviews? Do they write letters in longhand or spend hours every day online. The more you can pin down your target audience, the easier it will be to write your e-book for them.

Next, make a list of the reasons you are writing your e-book. Do you want to promote your business? Do you want to build quality traffic to your website? Do you want to enhance your reputation?

Then write down your goals of publishing. Do you want to sell it as a product on your website or do you want to offer it as a free gift for filling out a survey or for ordering a product? Do you want to use the chapters to create an e-course, or use your e-book to attract affiliates around the world?

EARN BIG INCOME WRITING AND SELLING E-BOOK ONLINE

Today, people need information. They will pay handsomely for the right information. This is one of the reasons that e-books have become so popular.

What Are E-books
According to wikipedia the free online encyclopedia “An e-book is an electronic or digital version of a book. The term is used ambiguously to refer to either an individual work in a digital format, or a hardware device used to read books in digital format.

E-books have certain abilities and qualities that other mediums do not possess. For example, e-books are extremely easy to produce, and their production cost is inexpensive. You don’t need a publisher, an agent, a printing press, paper, or even a distributor. You just need a good concept, the ability to write it or to hire a writer, and the right software.
Why Are E-books So Popular?
The reason e-books are so popular is because they are available to download almost instantaneously as soon as you have paid for them. You can also read them on a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) as well as your laptop, pc, mobile phone and you can print them out when needed.

Hundreds if not thousands can be carried on one device and approximately 500 can be stored in a CD (in text format). They are cheap to produce compared to paper and ink books and can be instantly copied.

Additionally, e-books are easily and rapidly distributed online. They are also easily updated; they do not require a second print run. All you need to do is to go into your original creation and modify the text or graphics. Because of this flexibility, e-books can change and grow as fast as you can type.

E-books are also immediately obtainable. You don’t have to go to the bookstore or search through endless titles at an online bookstore. All you have to do is download it from a website and before you know is on your computer, ready to be read.

E-books have a particular kind of permanence that other mediums do not possess. E-books remain on your computer for as long as you choose, and they can be read and reread whenever you choose. They can even be printed out and stored on the shelves of you traditional home library.

TYPES OF AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

There are three types of affiliate programs:
1. Pay-per-Sale: In this arrangement, the merchant site pays an affiliate when the affiliate sends them a customer who purchases something. Amazon.com’s affiliate program is an example of a pay-per-sale arrangement.
2. Pay-Per-Click:
In these programs, the merchant site pays the affiliate based on the number of visitors who clicks on the link to come to the merchant’s site. They don’t have to buy anything, and it doesn’t matter to the affiliate what a visitor does once he gets to the merchant’s site.
3. Pay-per-Lead:
Companies with these programs pay their affiliates based on the number of visitors they refer who signs up as leads. This simply means the visitor fills out some requested information at the merchant site, which the merchant site may use as a sale lead or sell to another company as a lead.

WAYS TO MAKE MONEY FROM AFFILIATE PROGRAM

1. Sign up for an affiliate program and advertise it on Google. This is certainly the quickest and simplest approach and can earn you money the first day you begin.

2. Look for a profitable affiliate program, and then build a website around that area. You can then submit your website to the top search engines like Google.com, Yahoo etc and then get free visitors to you site.

3. Look for an area you are interested in, then build a website around it, look for affiliate programs that are related and put them on your site.

4. Find out how often you will be paid. And decide if you will like their payment schedule. Some like www.clickbank.com pay as often as every 2 weeks while others like www.amazon.com pay quarterly.

WELCOME TO THE LUCRATIVE WORLD OF AFFILIATE MARKETING

Affiliate marketing is a way a company sell its products by signing up individuals or companies (“affiliates”) who markets the companies’ product for a commission.

Simply put, affiliate programs are arrangements in which an online merchant web site pays affiliate Web sites a commission to send them traffic. These affiliates Web sites post links to the merchant site and are paid according to a particular agreement. This agreement is usually based on the number of people the affiliates sends to the merchant’s site, or the number of people they send who buy something or perform some other action.

Affiliate marketing is the number one way of making money through the internet. It is very simple to learn and anyone can do it. Affiliate marketing has been around since 1994 when www.cd.com paid other sites to direct traffic to them. Now almost every website uses some kind of affiliate marketing for advertising.

To join an affiliate program is totally free and easy to do. You are not required to buy and stock the product (as in distributorships).

HOW TO BECOME AN AFFILIATE

If you are interested in getting involved in affiliate programs, the first thing you have to do is decide whether you want to become an affiliate, want to acquire affiliates, or both. If you run an e-commerce site and would like to increase your sales, you might want to start your affiliate program. If you run a small content site as a hobby and would like to bring in a little money to cover production costs, joining a few programs as an affiliate would be a good option.

Becoming an affiliate is relatively easy, go to an affiliate network site and fill out an online application to become a member. The application will also ask for some personal information (name, address, payment method) and information on your site (url, name, and description of content) and will have you agree to a service agreement. Most affiliate network are completely free for affiliates.

ADSENSE IS A WONDERFUL INVENTION BY GOOGLE

Adsense is a wonderful invention by google. It allows us, the website publishers, to make some extra cash from sites with very little efforts.

If you already have a site getting decent traffic, then Adsense will be an instant success for you.

However, if you’re just getting started then yes, you have some work to do. But the good news is, the more you work at building and marketing your site, the better the rewards.

You can make a ton of traffic with Adsense, just remembering the following points….

1. It’s a MUST you learn how to manage/update the website yourself. If you pay someone to build one for you, make sure they educate you on further maintenance and updates. In order to maintain your traffic levels and keep your adsense revenue coming in, your site must be updated frequently with fresh content and you do not want to rely on third party for the site updates.

2. Only choose topics that interest you. Don’t worry about the earning potential because the money will come once your site generates enough traffic. You will enjoy this process so much more if you are passionate about the subject matter.

3. Understand this will not happen overnight. It could take months before you start seeing any real traffic and income from Adsense. Thanks to all the junk and spam sites out there, Google and other engines are very slow and careful and ranking sites. You have to earn a good ranking by building a useful site and getting other quality, related sites link back to you. You want people to recommend your site voluntarily.

4. Marketing is everything when it comes to success with Adsense.
a). Do a Google search for forums in your niche and go where your target audience hangs out.
Become a member of these forums and put a link to your site in your signature file.

b). Find other Webmasters in your niche and see if there’s a way for you to submit articles for
their site, blog or ezine. These days, networking is everything.

Remember, success takes time. And unless you already have a well-trafficked site or blog, the Adsense revenue is not going to be instant.

But if you start with a topic you are passionate about and learn the basics of building a Web site, you are on your way to success.

Once again, Adsense is not just about launching a quick site or blog with ads and the money rolls in. It’s about building a long-term site with useful information targeted to a specific audience or group.

No matter what topics you chose, there will be competition, so your goal is to be THE BEST in whatever niche you choose. Think outside the box and come up with creative ways to deliver your content.

What It Takes To Earn Big Bucks With Adsense

The idea of Google Adsense is very, very simple: drop some codes on your web pages and when people click the ads, you, make money. But there are a number of important questions to ask when building sites so that you can earn the most money for your time and effort. The most important questions are:
1. How do I design a site so that it will get the most clicks?
2. What topics are the most valuable and will earn will earn me the most money?
3. How do I track the results of my efforts to see where I can expand and improve?

Those are the big questions. And there are good answers to those questions. I will discuss each one, one step at a time;
1. Designing a Site to Get the Most Clicks: Site design is very important in the quest to earn money with Adsense. If you put the wrong kinds of ads up, or put them in the wrong place on the page, you might get some clicks, but you will earn a lot less than if you know the best way to format your adsense ads and follow it.

2. Selecting the Most Valuable Topics: It is pretty obvious that some advertisements are worth more than others. The same is true with Adwords advertisers, for example, you might think that the keywords “sport cars” would be very valuable because sport cars are expensive. But among the group of people searching for “sport cars” are a lot of people who just want to see pictures of sports cars, or people who just have interest in sports cars but aren’t looking for one. On the other hand people searching for “sports car insurance” – they are looking to buy one. The value of clicks for the terms “sport car insurance” is almost seven times as much as the value of clicks for just “sports cars”. This means that it’s very important that you know what keywords to target before you build content for your web pages.

3. Tracking Your Result for Improvement and Expansion: So you have got the right page design and you are focusing on the high paying topics. The last thing is to test, test, and test. Test your websites, find out which pages have the most clicks, which subjects are drawing the most interest, and expand on those topics.

HOW TO GET AN ADSENSE ACCOUNT ON THE FIRST TRY

To apply for a Google Adsense account click on www.google.com/adsense. When you get to the page you will see a big “Click here to Apply” button and you will be taken through the application process. You will need to already have a descent looking website to get an account. Yes, that is right. If you don’t have a website, don’t apply for an account yet. Or if your website is a personal home page or doesn’t look professional, don’t apply yet, you will probably be rejected.

There is a way to almost always get an Adsense account on the first try, and it is easy to do. Here are the steps to take before you apply:
Step 1: Setup a blog at www.blogger.com. Google doesn’t usually accept free websites into their Adsense program. The exception to that rule is blogger.com blogs. So if you don’t have a website yet or have one that isn’t very professional, but you want to get an Adsense account and get started, go to blogger and create a blog on the topic you want to make money with.

Step 2: Make some well thought out post on your new blog twice a day for three days. Go to your new blog and write a good informative post. If your blog is about modern cars, you might discuss some of the best tools for building the cars, or which companies create the best quality models, etc. If your blog is on health insurance you might make posts about how to get the best insurance rates, or whatever other topics you can think of on the subject. Get a good five or six posts on the blog a period of four days, and then go apply for an Adsense account using your new blog url as the website you submit on the application.

Step 3: Check your spelling and test your links. Since you are going to be partners with Google and hosting their ads, they are not going to want to team up with a sloppy site that has obvious typos and broken links.

TREAT ADSENSE LIKE A BUSINESS

People don’t like to hear that Adsense is a business because it sounds too much work is involved. And what we know is that people hate to work. They want to become rich with as little effort as possible.

After all, it sounds much better to hear me say you can easily make money by putting Google ads on your site or blog than to say, “You have to build a ton of content, learn how to optimize every page for the search engines, and market you blog seriously.

But the truth is the reason most people never make much with Adsense is they don’t realize that this is all about learning how to draw enough targeted traffic to your site or blog to make worthwhile money. And that’s purely marketing.

So while i would love to tell you that making money with Adsense is about quickly slapping some ads and publishing your website or blog. It’s so much more than that because without traffic, you will never make any money.

Treat this as your business, and remember business takes time and work to develop.

WHAT IS GOOGLE ADSENSE?

Adsense is a program derived from adwords. Adwords are a hybrid of Google’s webmaster advertising program. Webmasters or web site owners are paying Google to promote their ads on Google.com. Every time an ad gets clicked, Google deducts a pre-set amount from their advertising budget. You will see these Adwords ads by doing almost any sort of search on Google and the ads show up in the far right hand side of the page.

Therefore, Adsense is a program derived from Adwords that allow publishers or web site owners like you or me to promote these same Adwords ads on our site. Then Google will pay us, the publishers, a certain percentage of what the Adwords customers are paying Google for those ads.

In order words, as an Adsense publisher, you are helping Google to advertise their Adwords ads, and Google is paying you a share of the revenue they earn every time your visitors click on your ads.

So let’s say you have a website on credit card or insurance repair, when you join Adsense, Google will supply you with few line of JavaScript codes that you paste into your site which is very much easy to do. And because of their savvy technology, Google can actually read your page title, content, etc and interpret what each page is about. So the ads that show up in your site are relevant to the topic on your pages.

This increases the chances that people will click on your ads and of course that just means more earnings for you.

Google will never disclose how much you will earn per click, but you earn between 0.01 and $10.00 per click, and perhaps even more.

So once your account reaches $100, Google sends a check. And you can even have them direct deposit the check right in your bank account.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF GOOGLE ADSENSE

The inspiring Google Adsense stories continue to pie up. These stories and countless more have gotten the public talking. Everyone wants to get in to their share of the Google Adsense pie.

First of all, let me say this. Google Adsense is one of the best solutions for any web site owner who wants to earn a little extra cash. And yes, that extra cash can turn into thousands of dollars over time. It has for so many people.
